Krzysztof Królczyk – professor of ancient history at the Faculty of History of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. His research interests include the history of the early Roman Empire, especially the history of the Roman frontier provinces, veteran settlements, Roman external politics, Latin epigraphy and the history of Polish research on antiquity. He is the author of several books, including: Rzymskie prowincje nad Renem i Dunajem w okresie flawijskim (69–96 r. po Chr.) – res militares et externae (Poznań 2019); Propagatio Imperii. Cesarstwo Rzymskie a świat zewnętrzny w okresie rządów Septymiusza Sewera (Oświęcim 2016); Veteranen in den Donauprovinzen des Römischen Reiches (Poznań 2009) and Tituli veteranorum. Inskrypcje weteranów z prowincji naddunajskich Cesarstwa Rzymskiego (Poznań 2005), as well as numerous articles and reviews.
