Hydrogen Strategies of Post-Soviet Resource States: a Comparative Analysis of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan

Abstract


The aim of the article is to provide a comparative analysis of Azerbaijan’s and Kazakhstan’s hydrogen strategies. The authors examine the economic, political and international conditions for the development of the hydrogen sector in both post-Soviet countries. The article outlines key similarities and diff erences in strategic approaches, including priorities and barriers to implementation. Special attention is given to the context of energy exports and sustainable development goals.
