PhD, Dr. Habil. in humanities in the discipline of linguistics, Associate Professor at the Jan Kochanowski University of Kielce, and certified teacher. She works at the Institute of Literary and Linguistics at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, where she is the head of the Department of Discourse Studies in the Institute of Linguistics and Literary Studies. She is a Program Director of the Open University at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce and a member of the International Association for Research in L1 Education and the Polish Linguistics Society. Her research revolves around discourse and youth culture, educational discourse, sociolects, and discourse of internet communities. She is involved in popularization of science among children and adults. Anna Wileczek is an active member of the Council for the Polish Language and a member of the contest committee of the Youth Word of the Year. Author and co-author of numerous academic publications, including monographs: Język i komunikacja. Wprowadzenie dla pedagogów (2020), Kod młodości.
