Anna Pastuszka is Assistant Professor at the Department of German Studies in the Institute of Linguistics and Literary Studies at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (Poland). Her research focuses on the literature of 20^th and 21^st century including travel writing and literary topography as well as places of memory and memory of place. Her interests also concern Central and Eastern Europe in German, Polish and Austrian literature, especially travel literature. She is author of articles about Esther Kinsky, Ilma Rakusa, Monika Maron, Hanna Krall, Monika Sznajderman.
