Andrzej Sławomir Kowalczyk is Associate Professor of English Literature at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, Lublin, Poland. He is the author of two book-length studies: The Voice of God, the Voice of Man: Religious Discourse in Late Medieval English Drama (2007) and Forms and Shadows: A Cognitive-Poetic Reading of Charles Williams’s Fiction (2017), as well as co-editor of Expanding the Gothic Canon (2014). His main research interests include the supernatural in literature, the Gothic convention, cognitive poetics, and utopia/dystopia in literature and film. He published articles and book chapters on these topics.
