Anna Krzyzanowska is Romance linguistics researcher. She works as a professor at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (Chair of Romance Studies). Her main research domains are French linguistics, contrastive linguistics, semantics, phraseology and discourse analysis. She is currently orienting her research towards the analysis of stereotypical speech acts and phraseology in the analysis of textual genres.

Raluca-Nicoleta BALAŢCHI is currently Associate Professor of Translation Studies and French Language at “Ştefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, Romania. Her research interests include translation criticism, pragmatics and French syntax. A guest editor of a series of special issues of Atelier de traduction on translation and subjectivity (2013), and on the cultural dimension in translation (2014), she has also published two books and several papers on various translation and linguistics topics. She is also a translator of linguistics and Translation Studies texts.
