Natalia Nielipowicz is an assistant professor at the Department of Literary studies of RomanPhilology at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland. Her research interests include contemporary French and Francophone fiction, the correspondence between fine arts and literature and the ecological dimension of literature. She is the author of the doctoral dissertation « Le Dialogue de la parole et de l’image dans l’œuvre de Marguerite Yourcenar. Autour de L’Œuvre au Noir » and the editor of an issue of Litteraria Copernicana dedicated to Le Clézio
